Dublin All-Ireland winner Ross O’Carroll will switch from the footballers to the hurling team this year, according to the Irish Independent.
O’Carroll, whose brother Rory started at full-back for the footballers this year, was a part of the hurling panel in 2009 and will return to Anthony Daly’s squad for the 2012 campaign.
Injuries have limited the Kilmacud Crokes man's opportunities for the footballers.
