McGrath linked to Cavan post

Former Down under-21 manager Pete McGrath is being linked with vacant job with Cavan’s senior footballers.

McGrath, who led Down to an impressive run in the All-Ireland minor Championship last year is interested in a return to inter-county management, according to the Daily Mirror.

Tommy Carr resigned from the position last week after a poor campaign with Cavan.

They were beaten by Fermanagh in the Ulster Championship and went down to a crushing loss to Cork in the qualifiers.
