O'Hara to give Sligo another year
Updated: Thursday, 29 Oct 2009 12:22
Sligo's Eamonn O'Hara will make himself available for county selection in 2010.
The news will be a boost to manager Kevin Walsh as he aims to build on the promise shown by the Yeats county since he took over a year ago.
For now, O'Hara has to shrug off the effects of a snapped tendon in his foot.
The 34-year-old former All-Star injured himself during his club Tourlestrane's Connacht club quarter-final defeat to Roscommon champions Castlrea on 18 October.
'Once I get over the injury I'll be making myself available to Kevin and Sligo,' O'Hara confirmed in the Irish Independent.
