Begley heading home

Former Laois star Colm Begley is to return to Ireland from Aussie Rules outfit St Kilda.

The 23-year-old, who spent three years with the Brisbane Lions, struggled to make any impact with the Melbourne club this season.

Martin Clarke and Kevin Dyas have both returned from Down Under in recent weeks, while Tommy Walsh is moving the other way after agreeing terms with Begley’s former employers.
