The Dublin GAA Board Management Committee decided unanimously at a meeting on Thursday to extend the tenure of Pat Gilroy's management team by a further year to include the 2011 Championship.

The Dublin manager attended a recent meeting of the County Committee and outlined his future plans and received the unanimous support of the delegates.

Paul Nugent has resigned as a selector for business reasons and has been replaced by David Hickey.

Gilroy took over the Dublin reins in October 2008, after Paul Caffrey stepped down.

Dublin finished mid-table in Division 1 of the National Football League this year, but despite making it five Leinster titles in a row, they were comprehensively beaten by Kerry in the All-Ireland Football Championship quarter-finals in August.
