Rafferty could be set for Armagh job

Former St Gall's boss John Rafferty is the latest name to be linked with the vacant role of Armagh Senior football manager.
The BBC are claiming that the Armagh players, who previously expressed their anger at their county board for their poor handling of process of picking a new boss for the side, are favouring the appointment of Rafferty.
The Orchard County’s panel has had a significant role in the task of choosing Peter McDonnell’s successor since their controversial statement that criticised the board last month.
The players had initially backed Paul Grimley for the job, before he opted to join the Monaghan management team.
Rafferty was handed plenty of support at a meeting to help choose the right man last Monday.
He was previously an assistant to Joe Kernan in 2007.
