Two quick-fire goals from Ciaran O'Connor and 0-06 from free-taker Aidan Walsh helped put Mayo in the All-Ireland Minor Football final at the expense of Down.
O'Connor struck on 34 and 39 minutes at Croke Park to deny the Mourne County, who held a 0-07 to 0-05 half-time lead.
Ross McGarry hit 0-05 from frees for Down, with Caolan Mooney (0-04) their only other scorer in the entire game
Michael Schlingermann made two crucial saves in the Mayo goal to ensure their passage through to the final where they will face Armagh.
