Kieran McGeeney has confirmed that he will be available to manage Kildare next season despite speculation linking him with the vacant post in Armagh
McGeeney’s Lillywhites have impressed in this year’s Championship and came very close to defeating Tyrone last Sunday.
And McGeeney has since distanced himself from the vacant position in his native county saying on hoganstand.com: ‘I said I'd stick at it for three years and if they want me next year, I'll be here for another one. I haven't been known to walk away from many things.’
Whe asked if the Armagh job would interest him he said: ‘Myself and Armagh had our talk two years ago and they told me what they told me - and what they told me was good enough for me.’
