Kildare have a number of injury concerns ahead of their All-Ireland SFC qualifier against Wicklow in Portlaoise on Saturday.

Eamonn Callaghan, Mikey Conway and James Kavanagh are doubts, while Killian Brennan is definitely out with a torn hamstring.

Willie Heffernan and Philip Hennessy are also unavailable, although Keith Cribbin is back training after hamstring trouble.

Kildare lost to Wicklow last year and selector Niall Carew insists the Lillywhites are ready for Saturday’s test.

He said: ‘With what Wicklow did to us last year, there's no complacency and our lads are looking forward to playing against them.

‘They feel they want to put things right and they know it's not going to be an easy game. No matter who we got it was going to be tough anyway.

‘They're after coming with three wins under their belt so they have momentum, but we're looking forward to putting things right on Saturday evening.’
