Kerry suffer Kennelly blow
Updated: Thursday, 02 Jul 2009 11:59
Kerry star Tadhg Kennelly has been sidelined by a suspected broken hand.
The former AFL star sustained the injury at training on Tuesday evening and will undergo tests in Dublin later in the week to determine the extent of the damage.
Kingdom supremo Jack O’Connor has already lost Paul Galvin to suspension and the news on Kennelly will come as a major blow to last year’s beaten All-Ireland finalists ahead of their 11 July qualifier.
O’Connor has, however, received a positive update on the fitness of Marc Ó Sé and Kieran Donaghy.
