Davoren out for the Championship

Mark Davoren's season has suffered a premature end after a scan confirmed that he suffered a torn cruciate ligament.
A relatively innocuous challenge at the start of the second half of the Dubs' Leinster Championship victory over Meath saw the Kilmacud Crokes man go down as he twisted his knee.
The forward was stretchered off the pitch and while he was optimistic about the injury after the game, the Dublin board have confirmed the bad news.
A statement read: 'Over the next day or two, he will be talking in more detail to our medical team before deciding on the appropriate course of action.
'Recovery will take several months and he will miss the rest of this year’s championship.'
