Forde set to miss Wexford campaign

Wexford footballers have been dealt a massive blow ahead of the Leinster SFC quarter-final tie against Kildare with the news that Mattie Forde will miss the Dr Cullen Park encounter.
After recently undergoing surgery on a spine complaint, the star forward in unlikely to see any competitive action this summer.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, Forde said: 'It will be another four to six weeks before I'll be able to get training, so I'd say any involvement in this year's championship will be very limited.'
