Derry recorded a facile Allianz NFL Division 1 win against Westmeath at Ballinascreen on Sunday.

Westmeath kept close tabs on the home side in the early stages of the encounter but Derry dominance grew and the Oak Leafrers led by 0-09 to 0-05 at the interval.

The second half proved a family affair with the Bradley boys (Eoin and Paddy) orchestrating Derry's best attacks.

Eoin Brown bagged the goal which secured the win for Damien Cassidy's side, while Eoin Bradley and substitute Paul Bradley ended up with five points apiece.
