Mickey Harte has named his entire 2008 All-Ireland winning Tyrone squad in his panel for the National Football League.

And five newcomers have been added to a 37-strong group for the opening game against Dublin on Saturday.

Gareth Devlin of Stewartstown and Omagh’s Jason McAnulla, both attackers, are joined by Augher midfielder Aidan Cassidy.

Two defenders also come on board – last year’s U21 captain Sean O’Neill of Dromore, and Killyclogher’s Martin Swift, who was in the squad in the early stages of last season, before leaving to find employment in the USA.

Harte has included a number of high profile players who will miss the early stages of the league through injury and travel.

Brian Dooher, Brian McGuigan, Pascal McConnell, Damien McCaul and Ciaran Gourley are all currently injured, while Dermot Carlin is currently in Australia.
