The Central Hearings Committee of the GAA have turned down the appeals of the five Meath players who challenged their eight-week suspensions following the brawl with Dublin in the National Football League.
Brendan Murphy, Shane McAnarney, Seamus Kenny, Niall McKeigue and Nigel Crawford must all serve their bans, but the county board's fine has been reduced to €10,000 on appeal.
They were punished for their role in the violent scenes that marred the match at Parnell Park.
Four Dublin players had their bans upheld on Friday night.
