TIPPERARY 0-10 ANTRIM 0-07, Ardfinnan

Wayward shooting by Antrim ensured that Jody Gormley's charges left Ardfinnan disappointed as Tipperary recorded a three-point win.

The Saffrons kicked 12 wides in a game in which Tipperary always held the upper hand.

Thanks to four points from Barry Grogan, they held a 0-05 to 0-03 half-time lead.

Despite Paddy Cunningham, Thomas McCann and Kevin Niblock boosting Antrim's tally, Tipperary held on to go third in the Division 4 table.

OFFALY 4-22 KILKENNY 1-06, O'Connor Park, Tullamore

Offaly confirmed their place in the Division 4 final after a facile 25-point win over Kilkenny at O'Connor Park, Tullamore.

A goal from Philip Roche guided Kilkenny into an early 1-01 to 0-00 lead, but this was as good as it got for the Cats.

Niall McNamee and David Egan were outstanding for the hosts with McNamee top-scoring with 2-06 and Egan kicking 2-02.

Offaly face third-from-bottom Clare next Sunday, while the Cats chase their first league points against London at Freshford.

WATERFORD 1-15 CARLOW 0-11, Dr Cullen Park

Eddie Rockett lived up to his name as his blistering goal helped
Waterford outgun Carlow at Dr Cullen Park this afternoon.

Good performances by Connie and Ger Power, along with Liam O'Lionain, helped the Deise to their fourth win of the league campaign and fourth spot in the table.

Paul Bealin's side simply played second fiddle throughout this contest and never got going as Waterford's good run in the bottom division continued with this impressive display.

WICKLOW 4-09 LONDON 0-06, Ruislip

The long journey over to Ruislip finished in a 15-point victory for
Wicklow as London's dismal NFL run continued.

Although Mick O'Dwyer's charges never hit top gear, goals were plentiful and were the vital scores - Tommy Gill top-scored with 1-05.

With a mixture of youth and experience in their side, Wicklow's goals were registered by Derek Daly, Leighton Glynn, Gill and Dean Odlum.
