FERMANAGH 2-06 WEXFORD 0-12, Lisnakea
14 man-Fermanagh lost their first league point of the 2008 campaign but still maintained their unbeaten run at Lisnakea.
The draw with Wexford was enough to ensure Fermanagh's promotion to Division 2.
A straight red card for Shane Goan almost cost the hosts dearly. Goals from Mark Murphy and Eamon Maguire saw them burst into an early 2-02 to 0-00 lead.
Sharpshooter Mattie Forde (0-07) helped Wexford go ahead, but a late Damien Kelly point levelled it for the Ernesiders.
LIMERICK 2-06 LONGFORD 3-05, Kilmallock
Goals win games and Paddy Dowd was Longford's savour as his late strike ensured the visitors stole the win at Kilmallock.
For large periods it had looked like Longford would claim a much-needed win.
But when Sean Buckley netted in the 69th-minute, it seemed as though Limerick would record a victory.
However, Dowd's last gasp effort, coupled with good play from Declan Farrell and Francis McGee, ensured Luke Dempsey's side grabbed two valuable league points.
LEITRIM 2-07 DOWN 1-09, Carrick-on-Shannon
Emlyn Mulligan led the charge for Leitrim at Carrick-On-Shannon as Ross Carr's Down side looked a pale shadow of the team which won the Dr. McKenna Cup.
A Mulligan penalty gave the hosts a 1-06 to 1-01 interval lead.
Despite Down staging a concerted comeback with six of the next seven points after the break, a fisted goal from Philip McGuinness saw Leitrim regain the lead.
Down's woes were compounded late on when midfielder Declan Rooney was sent-off.
LOUTH 2-07 SLIGO 0-12, Dundalk
Sligo's long journey to Dundalk ended in defeat as second half goals from Shane Lennon and Colm Judge helped Louth gain a slender victory.
It was a 75th-minute point from Ronan Carroll that stole the win for the hosts.
The Connacht champions had made an excellent start and were fully deserving of their 0-06 to 0-02 interval advantage.
But Eamon McEnaney's home side responded well on the restart to record their third league win of the season.
