Cork manager Billy Morgan will delay naming his side to face Kerry in Sunday's Bank of Ireland All-Ireland Senior Football final as the fitness of duo James Masters and Anthony Lynch is assessed.
Masters has been unavailable for selection since fracturing his jaw in the in the All-Ireland quarter-final against Sligo, but he will be given tiime to see whether or not he will be able for the rigours of what promises to be an intense battle between the neighbouring counties.
Lynch broke his hand in a practice match last Saturday. The player was immediately ruled out of the decider by Cork doctor Con Murphy.
However, the management are now exploring every possibility that would give Lynch, an experienced defender, a chance of playing in his second All-Ireland final.
