GPA announces Fair Play Award

The Gaelic Players Association has announced that they are to introduce a new Fair Play Award for this Championship season, in an effort to encourage discipline and sportsmanship.
Behaviour on and off the field, respect for opponents, referees and officials, and overall consistency in performance, will be among the criteria for the award.
The GPA will establish a Fair Play Committee (FPC) to select the winner of the award.
A significant prize will accompany the award.
