Kavanagh moves to full-back for Rebels

Cork manager Billy Morgan has opted to move Derek Kavanagh back from midfield to fill the void left by Graham Canty at full-back.

Canty was forced off by cruciate ligament damage during the Munster SFC final replay and will miss the remainder the season.

Pierce O'Neill moves to midfield to replace Kavanagh while David Niblock comes off the bench to take up the centre-forward berth.

Niblock was dropped prior to the drawn Munster final against Kerry on Sunday 9 July.
