Kildare have named Dermot Earley in their team for Sunday's All-Ireland senior football semi-final against Down at Croke Park.

The All Star midfielder is recovering from a knee operation following his injury in the opening minutes of the quarter-final victory over Meath, but will be given every opportunity to start against Mounemen.

Earley's inclusion means that Kildare will be unchanged from the side that saw off the Royals on 1 August.

There is one positional change, with John Doyle named in the half forward line and Eoin O'Flaherty switching into the corner forward position usually occupied by Doyle.
