Mickey Harte has been impressed with the form shown by the four sides who have successfully navigated the qualifiers ahead of next weekend's All-Ireland football quarter-finals at Croke Park.

Speaking on RTÉ Radio's Morning Ireland, the Red Hand supremo said: 'At this stage of the competition, there is no easy draw. This is true when you consider the four teams that have come through the qualifiers - each of them brings their own degree of difficulty and Dublin are certainly a case in point.

You have to be impressed with what they have done so far. They only lost out on making the League final on scoring difference and they beat us comprehensively in Omagh. They are an evolving side who are introducing new players and their work ethic has been most impressive in their championship games to date.

'That, coupled with the presence of the existing players, makes them a formidable outfit. In saying that, we are looking forward to the challenge of playing them.'

Tyrone have beaten the Metropolitans at the All-Ireland quarter-final stage in the 2005 and 2008 championship, and if they make it a hat-trick of wins next weekend, Roscommon or Cork will be their semi-final opponents on 22 August.
