Dublin's Paul Griffin set to miss the season
Dublin's Championship hopes have been hit by a major setback with the news that captain Paul Griffin looks likely to miss the entire season through injury.
Griffin suffered cruciate ligament damage during last weekend's victory over Monaghan, after being introduced as a second-half substitute.
Initial reports on the injury were optimistic, however scans have now shown that extent of the damage and Griffin is not expected to be back in action this season.
