Clubs keen to meet with Limerick Board
Regarding the ongoing stand-off in Limerick hurling, the management meeting of the Limerick County Board have received correspondences from five clubs requesting a special meeting with the Board.
The letters did not propose any motion to be discussed at a proposed meeting.
The management committee is anxious to progress the meeting and with this in mind the County secretary has written to all clubs outlining the situation and the required proceedure.
When the notice of motion is received the meeting will be held at the very earliest opportunity.
In a statement, the Limerick Board are acutely aware about the gravity of the situation that has resulted in county hurling team playing an understrength team so far this year, and have stated that the secretary is available to assist any club in drafting the motion.
