After crushing Cavan in the semi-final, Tyrone again hit a high score to see off Fermanagh and so a book a place in the Dr McKenna Cup final.

Tommy McGuigan knocked over six points in the opening half in Omagh and slotted home a penalty in the second period to seal an emphatic win for Mickey Harte's side.

Peter Harte, Aidan Cassidy, Stephen O'Neill, Kyle Coney and Martin Penrose also chipped in with fine points as the winners lead 0-13 to 0-5 at the break.

O'Neill, who impressed throughout, scored four more points in the third quarter as Fermangh had no answer to Tyrone's dominance throughout the field.

The Red Hand will now face Donegal in Saturday's decider after John Joe Dohertty's men edged out Down on a 1-13 to 1-12 scoreline
