Triple fitness boost for Galway
Galway hurler manager John McIntyre has been handed a welcome fitness boost ahead of the new season.
Defender Ciaran O'Donovan, utility-man Adrian Cullinane and forward Iarla Tannian all missed last season through injury, but are all set for a return to action with the Tribesmen in late March.
Galway skipper Joe Connolly confirmed the good news and said: 'We would expect the likes of Ciarán O'Donovan, Adrian Cullinane and Iarla Tannian to all be back in action by the end of March, while Niall Healy should be back from his knee cartilage injury in time for the league, hopefully by mid-February.'
