Sunday's Club Hurling round-up
Ballyhale Shamrock saw off a spirited challenge from Ballyboden St Enda's in Kilkenny to advance to the AIB Leinster Club Hurling Championship final where they will face Tullamore.
Ballyhale got off to an ideal start when Colin Fennelly netted after 22 seconds.
Henry Shefflin and Eoin Reid also notched goals in the opening period and TJ Reid hit the net in the second half.
The goals proved crucial with a final score of 4-18 to 0-18.
In Mullingar, it was a much tighter affair as Tullamore secured a three-point success over Clonkill.
Francis Kerrigan's goal helped the Offaly side to a 1-05 to 0-7 half-time lead.
Brendan Murtagh hit the back of the net for Clonkill, who also had Anthony Price sent off late on as Tullamore held out for a 1-12 to 1-09 win.
The Munster Club Hurling final will be contested by Newtownshandrum and Ballygunner.
The Cork team defeated Adare by 1-17 to 1-14, but the star of the show was 16-year-old Adare half-forward Declan Hannon.
He scored 1-13 for the Limerick side at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
Ben O'Connor accumulated 10 points for Newtownshandrum, with James Bowles scoring the goal.
There was late drama in Walsh Park as subsitute Barry Mullane scored the all-important goal as Ballygunnar beat Cratloe 1-14 to 1-15.
Finally, Portumna won a third Galway county title in-a-row thanks to a 5-19 to 1-12 win over Loughrea.
Joe Canning hit 1-10 while Damien Hayes finished the match with remarkable figures of 3-03.
