Armagh minor seriously injured in crash
Padraig Hollywood, a member of the Armagh's All-Ireland Minor Championship winning panel, is in a critical condition after a car crash on Saturday night.
The Granemore player was involved in a one-vehicle crash and suffered serious head injuries.
The accident on the Newtownhamilton Road and two other teenagers also injured.
The Orchard County minor manager Paul McShane said:
'He is still in intensive care and critically ill. However, the doctors seem content with his progress,' he told the Belfast Telegraph.
'The next 24 to 48 hours will be critical.
'All his friends and colleagues in the minor panel are hoping for good news.
'Padraig is a popular and talented member of the squad. He is always in the panel and is a serious contender for a starting place next season.'
Armagh won the Minor Championship after defeating Mayo 0-10 to 0-07 last September in Croker Park.
