Browne could hang up boots
Waterford stalwart Tony Browne may well have played his last match for the county.
The former hurler of the year, who made his debut in 1993, featured for the Déise in Sunday's All-Ireland SHC semi-final defeat to Kilkenny but speculation is mounting that the 36-year-old will now call time on his career.
Manager Davy Fitzgerald, whose own future remains in doubt, called for reflection in the wake of the defeat but Browne, Dan Shanahan and Ken McGrath's futures at inter-county level will all come under scrutiny before the start of next season.
