Players & GAA in recognition talks
The National Executive Committee of the Gaelic Players Assoication met tonight to discuss official recognition from the GAA and government funding.
In a statement released following the meeting, the GPA said: 'The GPA can confirm that informal discussions between the GPA and the GAA have taken place over the past few days and we will be outlining our position in relation to these meetings in due course.
'The GPA will be making no further comment in the interim.'
