Harte hands Cassidy debut against Dubs
Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has named an experienced side for the All-Ireland champions' floodlit NFL opener against Dublin at Croke Park.
But he has handed out one debut, to Augher's Aidan Cassidy, a reward for his highly impressive Dr McKenna Cup campaign. He lines out in the Red Hand midfield alongside Enda McGinley.
One tantalising prospect is the attacking partnership of Stephen O'Neill and Footballer of the Year Sean Cavanagh, who have both been named in the full forward line, with Owen Mulligan completing the inside unit.
Martin Swift, who has returned to the squad after leaving for the USA early last year, is included in the defence, alongside All-Ireland winners Justin McMahon, Davy Harte, Ryan McMenamin and Philip Jordan.
Joe McMahon, who played in the full back line in the Sam Maguire Cup decider, reverts to the half forward line
The Tyrone side features nine players who started last September's All-Ireland final win over Kerry.
Skipper Brian Dooher, Pascal McConnell, Brian McGuigan, Ciaran Gourley and Damien McCaul are ruled out by injury.
