Louth 3-11 Trinity College 0-03

Just 20 spectators were present as Louth romped to a facile Kehoe Shield victory at a cold and wet Darver.

Louth led by 1-05 to 0-01 at half-time, with Diarmuid Murphy netting for them after just 30 seconds.

They did, however, have half-forwards Kevin McNally and Eddie McCarthy yellow carded.

Kilkenny's Martin Phelan and Mike Hyland knocked over second-half points for the students but they were on the back foot when goals from Brian Corcoran and Wesley Morrissey sealed a semi-final spot for Louth.
