There are reports that the Kerry County Board has targeted Jack O'Connor as the man to take the reins as football manager once again.

Kerry officials want O'Connor to replace Pat O'Shea, the man who took over from him in 2006.

The county board have appointed a three-man committee to find the next manager but O'Connor is understood to be the only person on their shortlist so far.

Sean Geaney ruled himself out of the running last week, citing personal reasons for his decision.
