Saturday 28 July
Clare v Tipperary, Portlaoise, 1:30
A last chance for both sides with the prospect of an All-Ireland quarter-final in store for the victors.
Clare will be smarting from their earlier championship defeat to Tipperary, but face an uphill challenge with injuries to key players, including Susan Vaughan.
However, Tipp suffered a devastating blow last weekend against Cork and may find it difficult to bounce back.
The Banner to shade it, but only just.
Verdict: Clare
Dublin v Kilkenny, Portlaoise, 3:15
Dublin have steadily improved throughout this year’s Championship, but results have failed to reflect the fruits of their labour.
A crack at neighbours Kilkenny is sure to bring out the best in Denis Murphy’s charges.
With nothing to lose, the Dubs may sneak it and proceed to the quarters on 4 August.
Verdict: Dublin
