Limerick 6-29 Laois 1-12

Barry Nash hit 2-02 in the first half for Limerick as they trounced Laois 6-29 to 1-12 in their Division 1B league tie at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick.

Nash came into the side late after star forward Declan Hannon was injured, and he was rested at half-time after a hectic opening period in which Limerick were already well on their way with a 3-15 to 0-6 lead.

John Fitzgibbon went on to shoot 1-14 for TJ Ryan’s men who made it four wins from four. PJ Scully scored 1-5 for Laois but it was merely a consolation.
