Dublin 4-15 UCD 3-12

Paul Ryan and Eamonn Dillon both bagged two goals as Dublin came from behind to defeat UCD by six points in their Bord Na Móna Walsh Cup clash at Belfield on Thursday evening.

Dublin panellist Oisin O'Rorke helped himself to a hat-trick of green flags in the opening half to help the Students lead 3-08 to 2-06 at the interval.

However, Ger Cunningham's side responded strongly on the resumption, with Ryan's 1-02 helping them to draw level.

They finished the game strongly, reeling off some excellent points.

Dillion's 63rd-minute goal put the seal on their victory and so give Cunningham a winning start in his second year at the helm.

Next up for the Dubs is a date with Antrim at DCU, while UCD have an away engagement against Laois.
