Dublin footballer Paul Flynn and Kilkenny hurler TJ Reid have been named the GAA/GPA Players of the Month for June.

Flynn starred as Dublin powered past Laois and Wexford to set up a Leinster final showdown with Meath.

The Fingallians wing-forward scored a goal against The Model County in the semi-final to help the All-Ireland champions secure an incredible ninth final appearance in 10 seasons.

Reid, who has been near flawless as Kilkenny's free-taker this season, was rewarded for his performances in the Leinster SHC semi-final and replay against Galway.

The Ballyhale man scored 2-11 to help Kilkenny trounce the Tribesmen in the replay and advance to the Leinster final, which they won comfortably against Dublin.
