Cork landed their third Cadbury Munster Under-21 Football Championship title in a row defeating Tipperary 1-17 to 0-09 at Semple Stadium.

Mark Sugrue’s second-half goal allowed the Rebels take control of the game moving five points clear and Tipperary could not get back into the game.

Liam McGrath kicked five frees for Tipp but ended up on the losing side at the home venue.

Cork's Alan Cadogan was named man of the match as the Leesiders ran out 11-point winners to progress to the All-Ireland semi-final.

Meanwhile, Cavan reigned supreme in the Ulster decider defeating Donegal 0-13 to 1-06 at Brewster Park.

The Breffni County also made it three wins in a row enjoying a four-point victory over Donegal.

Willie Gillespie grabbed the only goal of the game but Donegal bowed out.

Cavan and Munster champions Cork will go head-to-head in the All-Ireland semi-final on 20 April.
