Grants case adjourned until after Congress
Updated: Saturday, 26 Jan 2008 15:00
The DRA has decided to adjourn the case taken by Mark Conway and an Omagh solicitors firm on behalf of the Of One Belief group after a meeting at Dublin Airport.
Solicitors for the GAA's Central Council argued that there had never been an agreement reached at their meeting on 8 December in relation to the acceptance and processing of Government grants for senior inter-county players.
The case has been deferred pending the progress of a number of motions in relation to the issue that will come before the GAA's Annual Congress in Sligo on 11 and 12 April.
