Poor turnout at anti-grants meeting
Updated: Thursday, 20 Dec 2007 11:09
Fewer than 100 people turned up to the anti-GAA grants meeting in Cavan last night.
However, four counties: Armagh, Fermanagh, Derry and Tyrone, will all work on motions for Congress to oppose the scheme.
The protestors are also planning to take the matter to the Disputes Resolution Authority next month with the claim that the grants scheme is, in fact, against the GAA's own rules.
