Toomevara snatch Munster title

Tipperary's Toomevara fought back in the second half to win the Munster SHC Club against Erin's Own from Cork by 2-09 to 2-08 on Sunday afternoon.

Erin's Own got off to a flying start and were in a strong position at half time, leading by 2-4 to 0-03.

However, Toomevara fought back in the second half and two goals, one from Eoin Brisland, brought them back on level terms before a late Ken Dunne '65 gave them victory.

It is the Tipperary sides third time to take the Munster title, having previously won it in 1993 and 2004.
