Ladies Club Championship previews

VHI Healthcare All-Ireland Intermediate and Junior Club Championship final previews.

Sunday 3 December
VHI All Ireland Intermediate Club Championship Final.
Inch Rovers, Cork v Naomh Mearnóg/St Sylvesters, Dublin
Nowlan Pk Kilkenny, 2.00pm.

Cork's Inch Rovers take on Dublin's Naomh Mearnóg/St Sylvesters in the VHI Healthcare All Ireland Intermediate Club Championship Final at Nowlan Park, Kilkenny, 2.00pm.

Inch Rovers' two 2006 All Stars Angela Walsh and Mary O'Connor will give the Rebel girls an edge, as will the services of captain Ciara Walsh, who was also a member of the All Ireland winning Cork panel.

Syls/Mearnóg will look to the highly talented Sinead Aherne, who was Dublin's sole 2006 All Star nominee, to provide the scores upfront aided and abetted by the very capable trio of Karen Kennedy, Deirdre McGill and Katie Slattery who have all shone in front of goal in recent weeks.

Saturday 2 December
VHI All Ireland Junior Club Championship Final Replay.
Eadestown, Kildare v Emyvale, Monaghan
Pearse Pk, Longford, 1.30pm.

In the replay of the VHI Healthcare All Ireland Junior Club Championship final, Emyvale of Monaghan will hope that they can finish off the job this time round against the resilient Kildare outfit, Eadestown, at Pearse Park in Longford.

Ciara McAnespie, Ulster's Young Player of the Year, hit the net twice for the Farney women last week and she will be a major threat again this week to Eadestown's chances of snatching glory.
Expect the Eadestown strikeforce of Leah Purcell, Cliona Dowling, Brigid Goode and Siobhan O'Sullivan to cause problems for the Emyvale defence.
