RTÉ Sport has a double-bill of English Premier League soccer this weekend.

Premier Soccer Saturday, beginning at the earlier time of 7.45pm, features Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle.

Arsenal will be hoping to bounce back from the disappointment of losing at Old Trafford when they host Stoke at The Emirates.

Alan Pardew made a fantastic start to his career as manager of Newcastle as they beat Liverpool at home but can he follow that result with another victory? Newcastle travel to Birmingham this Saturday.

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson insists he is not feeling the pressure at Anfield but his team need a win after the poor showing at St James' Park. Hodgson's old team Fulham have struggled since he left in the summer and new manager Mark Hughes needs something from the trip to Anfield after an indifferent run of form.

West Ham manager Avram Grant is under intense pressure to keep his job. It is believed he needs to win one of his next three games if he is to remain in charge at Upton Park. The first of those matches is a trip to manager less Blackburn.

I’ll be joined by Kenny Cunningham and Ray Houghton in the studio.

The match of the weekend is the meeting of Chelsea and Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. That game is the centre-piece of Premier Soccer Sunday on RTÉ 2 at 8.00pm.

Chelsea showed serious signs of improvement at Tottenham last weekend but that will be seriously tested by the league leaders who are coming off the back of a confidence-boosting victory over Arsenal.

Also featured on the show is the visit of Tottenham to Blackpool and West Brom versus Wolves from the Hawthorns.

Premier Soccer Sunday presenter Peter Collins is joined by Eamon Dunphy and Ray Houghton.
