Shane Breen racked up his second win at the five-star show in Barcelona with a victory in the big speed class aboard the bay mare Ominerale Courcelle on Sunday.

The Tipperary rider came home just under two seconds ahead of American Brianne Goutal and the 16 year-old gelding Onira, in a 50-strong class.

Earlier today Breen steered the nine year-old stallion Balloon into first place in the two-phase competition, ahead of Spain's Gonzalo Anon with Tobias.

Breen also took a second place with Ominerale Courcelle on the opening day of the Spanish show.

On Saturday, Conor Swail rode Martha Louise to the latest in a notable run of recent wins, outpacing France's Reynald Angot and Othello du Pharen in the speed competition.
