Kyle wins two-star event in Scotland

Thirty-six year-old Mark Kyle on Sunday won the two-star
event at Scone Palace in Scotland on the grey Irish-bred gelding
Coolio, just under four penalties ahead of British runner-up Matthew Wright and Caunton Welldone.

Seventh place in the competition went to another Irish rider, Clare
Abbott and the Irish-bred grey gelding The Dalai Lama.

Kyle, who is Wicklow-born, won the Indoor Cross Country competition at the British Open Show Jumping Championships in Birmingham earlier this month with Drunken Disorderly.
