Kurten through to five-star event

Two Irish riders made it into the top ten at the big jump-off class at Gothenburg, Sweden on Friday night.

Antrim-born Jessica Kurten claimed the runner-up spot on Georgina Forbes's gifted mare Castle Forbes Libertina.

With nine riders qualifying for Sunday's World Cup class at the five-star show, it was bad luck for Dermott Lennon and Woods Rosbotham's gelding Hallmark Elite who were edged out by a single time fault and settled for tenth overall.
