Another successful run of results was achieved by Irish riders at Arezzo in Italy today, with Meath-based Cian O'Connor finishing fifth in the five-star jump-off class with Stephen O'Connor's 10- year-old gelding Splendor.
O’Connor also took third place with the Lux Z gelding PS I Love You in the two-star speed class during the morning competitions.
Jessica Kurten, meanwhile, brought out one of her new horses, Lady Georgina Forbes's grey mare Castle Forbes La Vie du Fraign, for a run at the five-star speed class, where she finished in a creditable seventh place, though six seconds off the pace of the fast-finishing winner, France's Julien Epaillard and Commissario.
