Lynch sixth in Dortmund winning round

Denis Lynch and Cian O'Connor continued to dominate Irish show jumping results this weekend when 32 year-old Lynch added another top ten place tonight (Saturday) at the three-star show in Dortmund, Germany.
Riding his new horse, the world-ranked All Inclusive NRW - which was bought for the Tipperaryman by his Swiss owner Thomas Straumann earlier this month for a reputed seven-figure sum - Lynch took sixth place in the 1m50 Winning Round competition at Dortmund.
In the competition, which allows the best ten riders from the first
round to jump against one another for the trophy, Lynch recorded a clear round first time out, but dropped a single pole on his second attempt.
Lynch has already had a fourth place in Dortmund's Grand Prix
Qualifier with his other top horse, Lantinus.
In Italy at Arezzo's four-star show, meanwhile, Cian O'Connor took a third place in the Grand Prix Qualifier today with Complete.
