There will be an all-English final at the BDO World Championships on Sunday after Alan Norris won a thrilling last-four clash with Jan Dekker.

With tournament favourite and top seed Stephen Bunting watching on television having already crushed Robbie Green 6-1, Dekker and Norris proceeded to play out a thriller at Lakeside.

The Yeovil thrower trailed 4-2 at one stage but mounted a spectacular comeback to lead 5-4, before Dekker got it back to 5-5.

The deciding set duly went to two legs each as Norris looked to be crumbling, almost falling to his knees as a double-top for the match crept into the five.

Dekker then had three darts at double six to stay alive but failed, with his first two attempts so poor he had to take nearly a minute to work out where to stand in order to get a clear sight of the target.

He left Norris needed 30 and, after a horror-show attempt at double 15, he eventually settled on double four which he landed before spinning Dekker around in the air.

Neither Bunting nor Norris have won the tournament before.
