Big-hitting batsman Kevin O’Brien has been signed to play in the upcoming BPL Twenty20 competition in Bangladesh.
Renowned for hitting the quickest century in ODI World Cup history when Ireland beat England in India, O’Brien has signed for Rangpur for $45,000.

O’Brien said: "Hopefully I can add a lot to the squad and play some important innings in the BPL both with bat and ball.”

Stirling is looking forward to competing for the first time in the tournament which starts on 18 January.
The Middlesex all-rounder said: "Hopefully, I'll be able to repay their faith in me. With the 2014 World Twenty20 being held in Bangladesh, it's a wonderful chance for Kevin and myself to get experience of the conditions."
Fellow Irish hopefuls, Niall O'Brien and Gary Wilson failed to get picked in the BPL draft.
